Why did you choose to intern with this company?
I had a great experience with the company last summer. The people seemed genuinely nice and patient. The company also has a great reputation. Most importantly, during my interview I was informed that I would be given a variety of projects, which would help me in my career decision.

What were your responsibilities?
The responsibilities with this job repeat themselves the first 10 days of every month. We spend those ten days closing the books for the prior months and putting together all of the different financial statements from the different Worthington Cylinders locations.

What was the most important thing you learned?
It has provided me with extensive training, understanding, and expectations of the finance world.
From my internship I have learned so much more about Accounting that is not taught in the classroom. It has definitely allowed me to use background information that I have learned at OSU to apply that towards the work that is assigned to me.
The most important thing that I learned during this internship is letting a supervisor or manager know if you are not satisfied with what you are doing. Nothing can be done unless someone knows.
