What impact/contribution do you feel you've made during your internship? Since I replaced someone who was on disablilty for 6 weeks I feel that I helped to relieve alot of the work that would have been placed on others. I've also been able to clean up some things that the full time employess haven't had time to do themselves. - Kelly Dornbrook, Finance


What were your responsibilities? My major projects at NCR included: trying to reduce the supplier base by approximately 25% through research and parent supplier consolidation; helped plan, support and implement a reverse auction for freight forwarding, which realized savings of approximately 26%; participated in global conference calls and initiatives to further drive savings; worked to clean-up and consolidate the NCR store; worked to help further utilize Minority and Women owned Business Enterprises (MWBE's). - Erin Murdock, Transportation & Logistics
What was the most important thing you learned? I learned that management does not always give you a set path, and that being assertive helps you gain respect and confidence. I also learned that with respect from others and confidence in yourself, work is more exciting and you are in control of what you are doing on a daily basis. - Ryan Yeary, MIS
