Rob Nuccio
what did you do?
The project I worked on involved analyzing the cost structures of the products sold by the Victoria’s Secret Direct business (Catalogue and Internet).

what did you learn?
I learned that paying attention to detail is very important. Assume and overlook nothing. If you’re afraid to ask questions, you’ll never master what you’re trying to learn.

advice for others?
Become QUIC! When looking for an internship, apply for as many as possible. It’s tough to get a clear picture of a job from a short blurb, and during the interviews you’ll find out if you want the internship.

Lynn Ault
what did you do?
Assessed excess inventory within shoes and accessories, creating current trend reports in order to direct both the merchants and merchandise planners on what is selling well within our department.

what did you learn?
How an actual business functions day to day...how the different areas of the business interact to produce the best product possible.

advice for others?
Be persistent. Demonstrate passion for your company of choice by being knowledgable about the business and following up with any contacts from that company.

Michael Song
what did you do?
For the most part my job consisted of setting up day to day emails for Bath and Body Works, including segmentation of customers, html coding, and being creative.

what did you learn?
People are willing to help you achieve your goals and career aspirations. My supervisors all made sure that my experience tailored as much as possible to how I wanted to learn.

advice for others?
Start Early, go in with an open mind, get to know the people you work with and get as much advice as possible. Also keep in touch with those you meet at work. They may be able to influence your future career goals.
