How to Become QUIC
STEP ONE: Complete Your FisherConnect Profile and Upload Your Resume
1. Use the information from the QUIC Modules to complete your FisherConnect Profile.
2. Upload your resume for employers to see.
IMPORTANT - Complete STEP ONE immediately or your ability to schedule a QUIC interview will be delayed.
STEP TWO: Complete the Fisher Career Services QUIC Program on Carmen
1. Login into Carmen at http://www.carmen.osu.edu
2. Enter your OSU Internet Username (doe.99) and password (the same password you use to access email), look for Ongoing, Business Adminstration in My Courses and then click on the Fisher QUIC Program link.
3. Click on Content and read Module 1: Introduction and pass QUIC Quiz 1 (found by clicking on QUIC Quizzes in the tool bar) on the information presentation in the module. You will need a score of 100% to pass the quiz and move on to Module 2: Policies and Completing FisherConnect Registration.
4. Read Modules 2 – 5 and pass the corresponding quizzes. The next module will be revealed when the previous module is read and you have passed the quiz with a score of 100%.
5. You will receive an email letting you know you can schedule your QUIC interview after you pass the quizzes.
STEP THREE: Schedule a QUIC Interview through FisherConnect
1. To sign up for a QUIC interview, log into FisherConnect and then click on [On-Campus Interviews] and do a search using the optional company name “QUIC”.
2. For each schedule, click on the highlighted ID number — you will then see a complete description of the position(s) for that company, along with the timeline and requirements. READ ALL POSITION DESCRIPTIONS CAREFULLY!!
3. For open schedules, at the top of the screen will be a “sign up” button — click on that to schedule your interview time. The interview date(s) will be displayed — choose one and click on it, then choose an interview time and click on “Sign up.”
NOTE: All of the screens in FisherConnect include instructions — so read through them carefully the first time you are using the system
Within 2 business days of passing your QUIC interview, you will have complete access to view on-campus interview opportunities through FisherConnect Schedules.
Carmen Tips
• Your username and password are case sensitive
• Modules 1-5 are required and must be completed in order
• Read the instructions for each quiz
• You must save your quiz answers to get credit for them
