Fisher hosts annual Big Ten MBA case competitionPublished: 2013-04-16 In partnership with the National Center for the Middle Market at Fisher, the Big Ten+ Case Competition brought together MBA students from prominent business schools April 11-13 to help solve complex, live business challenges for a middle market company. The case about Columbus-based Bravo Brio Restaurant Group, Inc. was developed by Fisher Clinical Associate Professor Jay Dial and second year MBA candidate Akshay Deshpande. The students were challenged to develop a growth strategy for the casual dining restaurant group. A middle-market company, the group has more than 100 restaurants across the country and $400 million in annual sales. Students from the nine participating universities were given a tour of a company restaurant and dined and networked with executives prior to the start of the competition. |
