Middle Market Student Summit held on Feb. 21 at Ohio Union

As a kick-off to the second annual Middle Market Job Fair, the National Center for the Middle Market will hold a Summit dedicated solely to business students on Feb. 21 from 3-7 p.m. at the U.S. Bank Room at the Ohio Union.

The keynote speaker will be John Lowe, CEO of Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams. Free refreshments, including Jeni's ice cream, and dinner will be available. A networking event will follow the keynote speaker.Other participants in the event, including Dean Christine Poon and Anil Makhija, the center director, will discuss what the middle market is, how it's relevant in today's economy, and what career opportunities are available.

Founded out of a multiyear partnership between GE Capital and The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business, the National Center for the Middle Market exists for a single purpose: serving as the foremost expert and leading resource on the U.S. middle market economy. In this capacity, the Center provides critical insights and analyses that drive growth, increase competitiveness, and create jobs for the middle market, and, ultimately, the overall U.S. economy.
