Ward named a Fellow of the Decision Sciences Institute

Fisher’s Peter Ward, Richard M. Ross Chair in Management and director of the Center for Operational Excellence, will be named a Fellow of the Decision Sciences Institute at its annual meeting in Boston on Sunday, Nov. 20.

The distinguished title of “Fellow” is given to leading scholars and professionals of the institute for outstanding contributions in the field of decisions sciences.  Only two Fellows are named each year.

Ken Boyer, Fisher professor of operations management, is the chair of the 42^nd annual conference being held Nov. 19-22 at the Boston Marriott Copley Place Hotel. The meeting brings together more than 1,300 leading scholars and professionals from diverse industries and fields representing decision sciences.
