Fisher Email Migration Complete
The Fisher Faculty and Staff migration to the University Email Service (UES) is now complete. All e-mail, contacts, tasks and calendar items have been copied to the UES. Listed below are some frequently asked questions about the migration:
Will I still receive email from my old Fisher email address?
Yes. All email sent to any existing Fisher email address (firstname.lastname@example.org) will be forwarded to the university email address (email@example.com) indefinitely.
How do I access OSU Webmail?
Outlook Web App (OWA) provides online access to your Exchange account and can be accessed at http://email.osu.edu. Click University E-mail Service to login.
Does the University Email have SPAM protection?
Yes. When a message is considered to be spam (i.e. junk email), the University Email Service will automatically move the message to your Junk E-mail folder. Be sure to check your Junk E-mail folder regularly to avoid missing legitimate messages.
Will my return email address change?
Yes. The default return email address will be firstname.lastname@example.org. However any previous Fisher email address (i.e. email@example.com) can be set as default by contacting the FCOB ITS Helpdesk.
Can I get UES email assistance after normal business hours?
The University IT Helpdesk (8help) provides extended support outside of normal business hours.
