5/10 - Wireless Network Assessment

Starting next week, Monday, May 10, ITS will be conducting a site survey of Fisher’s wireless network to aid with future network design. This survey is an assessment of signal coverage within each building. Surveyors will be walking through each area with laptops to measure wireless signal strength.

 

During the survey, technicians may ask for access to individual offices to test the wireless signal. Such interruptions will be as minimal as possible and should only last a few minutes. Classroom instruction will not be disrupted at any time.

 

The survey process may take up to three weeks depending on room availability. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the ITS Helpdesk.
