College receives $1.8 million estate gift to establish chair, scholarships |
Executive Education’s Lisa Antolino call ed the late John Russell, (pictured right) who served on the Dean’s Advisory Council, as the “ultimate people person.”
As a corporate communications executive, he was a true believer in customer centric business strategies, she said.
Antolino worked with Russell for many years at Bank One. “He was creative, an innovator, a visionary,” Antolino said. He was also a mentor and a friend to Antolino.
“He was extremely supportive of me and continued to be a mentor to me after I came here to Fisher," she said.
She recalled a man who was a great communicator, supporter of education and mostly a generous heart. It is all of those attributes and more that will be Russell’s lasting legacy for the Fisher community.
