Applicants for admission to the MBOE program must apply online. The Admissions Committee takes a comprehensive approach in evaluating applications and only complete packets are considered.
The following items make up the application packet:
-
MBOE Application Form - Apply Online!
When applying, you will be required to create an account first, which will help manage your application process. If you have any questions or concerns about the MBOE application process please contact:
Bob Mick, 614-247-2556, mick_15@fisher.osu.edu
-
Personal Resume
An updated copy of your resume, listing work experience and career progression.
-
All College Transcripts
Contact all educational institutions you have attended and request two copies of official transcripts (raised seal or notarized) for all undergraduate and graduate degree program course work completed. The transcripts should be sent to Bob Mick at the address provided below.
If you have transcripts sent to you, they must be forwarded to Bob Mick in their original sealed envelopes. Transcripts not received in their original sealed enveloped will not be accepted. Transfer credits appearing on another school’s transcript does not constitute an official record and will not be accepted. A transcript must be forwarded from the original institution.
Note: You do not have to submit transcripts for course work or degrees received from The Ohio State University. These can be obtained internally by the MBOE program. -
Recommendation forms (3)
Please arrange to have three recommendations prepared by an immediate supervisor, previous employer or a person familiar with your qualifications and potential for graduate study. You will have the option of allowing your recommendations to be submitted electronically or in paper form. Instructions are provided for either method. -
Employer Sponsorship
A company letter of support from your employer. Endorsement of your candidacy by your employer, including an explicit commitment of financial resources (if applicable) and time, and endorsement of the capstone project is a critical factor in the admission decision. -
Interview
You are expected to participate in an interview to review your academic as well as your managerial experience. Your sponsor is also encouraged to attend the interview when possible. Be prepared to describe projects you have handled that demonstrate your management skills. You will be contacted by the program manager regarding the interview once a complete application packet is submitted. -
Application fee
A non-refundable application fee of $200.
-

Some candidates may be asked to take the GMAT. If this is required, please have the test scores sent directly to the Fisher College of Business, School Code #ZLJ-9D-47.
