Classroom Experience

While at Fisher College of Business, the on-campus sessions consist of concentrated, productive learning opportunities that are highly interactive including hands-on simulations, “Go and See” Gemba Work to enhance learning, classroom instruction that focuses on individual components of operational excellence, and also group social activities after class.

You will learn about operational excellence from Fisher’s experienced faculty who are accomplished educators, researchers, and consultants. Lean experts who are authors of Shingo Research Prize winning books also provide classroom instruction in addition to Fisher faculty members. In all, the classroom experience combines exceptional faculty devoted to giving you the best experience possible combined with the opportunity to share thoughts and ideas with classmates from diverse backgrounds.

Classes are held in Pfahl Hall, the executive education and conference center at the Fisher College of Business. Take an online tour of the Fisher campus, one of the few fully integrated management education campuses in the nation.

To keep you informed and in touch during your time away from campus, you have access to our interactive course delivery website known as Carmen. Homework assignments, project work and exams are administered through the website, meaning you can access and submit coursework from anywhere according to your schedule.
