Academic Credentials and Transcripts
Contact all educational institutions you have attended and request a copy of official transcripts (raised seal or notarized) for all undergraduate and graduate degree program course work completed. The transcripts must be mailed to Beth Miller at the address provided below. Do not send transcripts to the OSU Graduate Admission's Office.
If you have transcripts sent to you, they must be forwarded to Beth Miller in their original sealed envelopes. Transcripts not received in their original sealed enveloped will not be accepted. Transfer credits appearing on another school’s transcript does not constitute an official record and will not be accepted. A transcript must be forwarded from the original institution.
Letters of Recommendation
Please arrange to have three (3) recommendations prepared by an immediate supervisor, previous employer or a person familiar with your qualifications and potential for graduate study. You will have the option of allowing your recommendations to be submitted electronically or in paper form. Instructions are provided for either method within the online application.
A company letter of support from your employer. Endorsement of your candidacy by your employer, including an explicit commitment of financial resources (if applicable) and time, as well as an endorsement of the capstone project are critical factors in the admission decision.
You are expected to participate in an interview to review your academic as well as your managerial experience. Your sponsor is required to attend the interview with you. Be prepared to describe projects you have handled that demonstrate your management skills as well as your capstone project ideas.
It is important that you and your potential sponsor are prepared for the interview discussion. Because of this, the sponsor is required to watch a short online video that explains the expectations as the sponsor in support of your project and coursework.
You will be contacted by the program director to schedule an interview once a complete application packet is submitted and information is received verifying the video has been watched by the sponsor.
