RequirementsApplicants for the Master in Business Logistics Engineering degree program must have completed (or will complete prior to enrollment) a baccalaureate degree a strong quantitative background from an accredited college or university. Applicants' academic record should demonstrate an ability to pursue graduate studies. We urge you to start your application process early. Allowing time to fully prepare your application will enable you to devote sufficient resources and thought to each step without rushing yourself or the third parties who will write your letters of recommendation. Preparing your application is your chance to shine and distinguish yourself among your peers. Devoting time and thought to putting your best foot forward will be well worth your effort. Our application process varies slightly for domestic and international applicants but in general requires similar core elements including: Academic credentials and transcriptsApplicants must submit two official, unopened, original and certified copies of transcripts from every college or university they have attended. You are not required to submit official transcripts for any grades earned at The Ohio State University. Test ScoresAll applicants are required to take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). Either the GMAT or the GRE is acceptable. There is no need to take both. Be sure to take it as soon as you are well prepared. Detailed ResumeThis is your opportunity to showcase your employment history, extracurricular and/or community activities, language skills, and military record, if applicable. The Master in Business Logistics Engineering program views work experience as desirable but not necessary. Statement of PurposeThis statement should outline your graduate study goals and plans, career plans, experience and any special circumstances that need explaining. Letters of recommendationWhen deciding whom to ask for letters of recommendation, you will want to choose individuals who can attest to your scholarship, professional development, personal character, and overall potential to succeed. Be sure to make your requests in plenty of time to allow respondents to prepare thoughtful, detailed letters on your behalf. Your references will have the opportunity to submit either an electronic or paper letter of recommendation on your behalf. Nonrefundable application processing feeThe application fee is $60 (U.S. Dollars) for United States citizens, permanent residents, or asylees, and $70 (U.S. Dollars) for international students. The fee is paid by credit card at the time that an applicant submits the online application. The application fee should not be sent separately to the Graduate Admissions Office and is nonrefundable. |
