Recruitment and Career Management Success

Fisher uses a variety of methods to recruit undergraduate and graduate minority students. The college supports pre-collegiate recruitment programs such as ACAP (Accounting Careers Awareness Program) and Young Scholars Program, which bring high school students to Fisher’s campus where they learn about business careers. At the graduate level, Fisher has a strong presence at the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) and the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) conferences, among others. All graduate student organizations are open to MBLE students.

Recruiters consistently hire our graduates both for their business acumen and their ability to collaborate and manage new ideas. Fisher’s Office of Career Management helps students successfully manage their career search and minority recruitment fairs have enabled Fisher to place students with top companies, including JPMorgan Chase, Proctor & Gamble, Lehman Brothers, IBM, General Electric and Limited Brands, to name a few.

Educational and Professional Diversity

Fisher’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion Student Services offers academic counseling, scholarships, need-based financial aid, and tutoring services for minority undergraduate and graduate students and support to campus departments, corporations, companies, and agencies which seek to help minority students succeed academically, financially, and socially.

Fisher consistently provides a number of events, services, and student organizations tailored to meet the needs of international students.

Student Community

Student organizations and activities are as varied as our students themselves. Student groups bring speakers to campus, sponsor conferences and other special events, organize networking opportunities, and hold career development forums in collaboration with the Office of Career Management. As a member of one of Fisher’s student organizations, students can connect locally and nationally with peers in social and professional settings, as well as with top executives and alumni from around the world.
