Undergraduate Programs
The Marketing and Logistics Department offers two majors in the Undergraduate Program – one in Marketing and the second in Logistics. Currently, both the Marketing and the Logistics Majors are two of the most sought after at Fisher. Both majors have also been ranked in the top twenty in the country consistently.
An Undergraduate student majoring in Marketing will have to complete four required courses. The courses are:
Buyer Behavior
Marketing Research
Case Analysis in Marketing
And one of the following:

BUS M & L 755     Promotional Strategy
BUS M & L 756     Product Design and Pricing
Buyer Behavior (BUS M & L 750) and Marketing Research (BUS M & L 758) are to be completed before taking Product Design and Pricing (BUS M & L 756). Promotional Strategy (BUS M & L 755) or Product Design and Pricing (BUS M & L 756) are to be completed prior to taking Case Analysis in Marketing (BUS M & L 752).
In addition, students will complete two electives from a set of varied offerings covering the areas of distribution, services, global marketing, and retailing.
Managerial Marketing
Retail Management
Promotional Strategy
Product Design and Pricing
International Marketing
Sales Management
Services Marketing
Logistics Management
Analysis and Design of Logistics Systems
Logistics Decision Making
If 755 is chosen as a required course, 756 can be taken as an elective, and if 756 is chosen as a required course 755 can be taken as an elective.
Students intending to major in Logistics Management should complete three required courses. These courses are:
Logistics Management
Analysis & Design of Logistics Systems
Transportation Management
In addition, two electives are required and will be chosen from a diverse set of electives offered by the department.
Students intending to dual major in Marketing and Logistics will be able to count a few of the elective courses in Marketing toward a major in Logistics and vice-versa. Please see you academic counselor for information on this issue.
