Fellowships, Grants, and AwardsThrough its affiliation with CIBER and the resources at OSU, the International Programs Office at Fisher offers many grants and awards. Below are options: The Halsey Family ScholarshipThe Halsey Family Scholarship Fund, offering $500-$1,000 scholarships, is available for i4:Europe students who have demonstrated financial need and an interest in Eastern Europe. Interested students should apply by submitting a statement addressing their financial need and their interest in the region to Miranda Gerberding by Oct. 15. The Chatfield Family ScholarshipThe Chatfield Family Scholarship for International Experience supports students at Fisher College of Business who participate in one of Fisher's four summer internship programs. Students approved for one of these programs will be contacted after the application deadline to consider serving as a Student Liaison. Please contact Joyce Steffan for more information. Fisher Exchange Travel ScholarshipsThrough CIBER and the generosity of private donors, the International Programs Office offers travel grants to students who participate in University-endorsed Study Abroad Programs. While any University-endorsed Study Abroad Program will be considered for a grant, priority is given to business students attending programs at one of Fisher’s partner institutions. Ohio Soybean Council ScholarshipThe Ohio Soybean Council Foundation is pleased to announce scholarship opportunities for the 2013-2014 academic year, available to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing studies related to the soybean industry and the field of agriculture. Foreign Language and Area StudiesThe Foreign Language & Area Studies Fellowships are offered to graduate students and professional school students who enroll in foreign language instruction at OSU or abroad. The purpose of these fellowships is to promote the creation of world area specialists, and business students are encouraged to apply. Global Research AwardsThe Global Competence Award program is one of the ways in which Fisher’s CIBER supports faculty in their international research interests. Any project will be considered for this award, but interdisciplinary or cross-functional projects are often given priority. In addition, the International Programs Office encourages projects which relate to CIBER’s theme (the management of global strategic alliances).
