Action-based LearningFisher's Business of Healthcare course is designed to recognize the importance of how information and technology drives change in the healthcare industry. Students in the course are exposed to distinguished healthcare executives, physicians and policymakers. Students work in teams directly with Columbus-area hospitals to analyze current issues facing the healthcare sector. Throughout the course, students tour operating rooms, meet with local healthcare executives, and work with physicians from the New Albany Surgical Hospital, The Ohio State Medical Center and Mount Carmel Hospital to help solve specific healthcare delivery problems. |
