Business Analytics
Decision makers in firms augment their experience and insight with information generated by analytic techniques. They compete on analytics. They experiment with analytics to continuously improve their processes and customer services.
Business analytics is based upon data and results in information-based decisions. Consequently, analytics competitors rely heavily upon sophisticated statistical and quantitative modeling tools and the employees who can utilize them. The Business Analytics Track is designed to provide Fisher MBAs with the tools to transform data into information in order to optimize processes across the enterprise and value chain.

Action-based Learning
As a part of the MBA Six Sigma Program students are indoctrinated into Six Sigma methodology through a series of classroom experiences and online training from MoreSteam.com. The program concludes by working on a commissioned project with organizations such as Honda, Mettler Toledo, The Ohio State University Medical Center, and Owens Corning.
During the 15 week project, second-year MBA students will implement DMAIC and Lean methodology to develop a solution for the corporate partner.
