The Center for Real Estate has four primary focuses: Academics,
Event Programming, Networking and Research. Through these focuses we
will execute our mission by providing resources, experience and
access to our students, faculty and the public at large. We will
fulfill any need and foster every opportunity to cultivate
excellence in real estate education, research and outreach.

Ken is the driving force behind the center’s
relaunch, helping to conceive of everything from its new ideas to
its new image. He also an adjunct professor of two core Real Estate
courses in the MBA program and works fulltime as the Managing
Partner of Skilken Real Estate Firm. Ken earned his undergraduate

John Rensink,
Program Assistant

John runs the day-to-day operations of the
center. He is dedicated to finding and creating opportunities for
students to further their learning experience in real estate
education. In addition, he helps to enable new ways for
professionals to connect with the center and the university. John
earned his undergraduate degree from Ohio State and earned a
Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration from the
University of South Carolina.
