"His dissertation dealt with issues relating to market efficiency and pricing of potential merger targets. Professor Wansley was a finalist for the 1996 MBA Outstanding Faculty Award. In 1994 he won the Hoechst-Celanese Award for Research and Teaching in the College of Business. He was a finalist in 1990, 1991 and 1992 for the John Ross Award for Outstanding Teaching. "
