Nassar Arshadi, Ph.D., is Vice Chancellor for Research and Professor of Finance at the University of Missouri- St. Louis. His areas of research include corporate finance, capital markets, and financial intermediation. His papers have appeared in the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Financial Services Research, Journal of Financial Research, Financial Management, Financial Review, among others. He published two books: The Law and Finance of Corporate Insider Trading: Theory and Evidence (1993, Kluwer Academic Publishing) and Modern Financial Intermediaries and Markets (1997, PrenticeHall). He has served as Policy Analyst at Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in Washington, DC, and as a consultant to the American Bankers Association (Washington, DC), Treasury Management Association (Washington, DC), Securities Industry Automation Corporation (NYC), Deutsche Fiancial Services (St. Louis) and Commerce Bankshare (St. Louis). He has also served as an expert witness in a variety of legal cases.
