Professor Fisher has done extensive work with stocks and bonds, including investigating risks and returns of individual stocks, developing new stock return indexes, studying the risk of default and liquidity on promised yields of corporate bonds, and calculating yield curves. Fisher has an extensive background in portfolio theory and stock and bond market behavior. One of the originators of CRSP and event studies.
