Building a Sustainable EnterpriseThis seminar will draw upon the experience of leading global corporations, such as Dow Chemical, Hewlett Packard, and 3M, who have demonstrated that their businesses can be both sustainable and profitable. Based on real-life case studies, participants will learn how to adopt a life-cycle management approach that considers the “cradle to cradle” costs and benefits of material acquisition, transportation, manufacturing, distribution, customer support, and end-of-life asset recovery. Issues in Corporate GovernanceExamination of corporate governance, including questions of institutional ownership, monitoring duties of board directors, and enforcement; as well as topics of special interests in emerging markets, changes in corporate governance through privatization, cross-border M & A’s (Mergers and Acquisitions), cross-listings, and the role of banks. |
