Finance Courses
Online Executive Certificate in Financial Planning
This Online Executive Certificate in Financial Planning is offered through Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University, in conjunction with Dalton Education, a leading provider of financial planning education materials.
The self-paced course is intended to be completed in nine months and is designed to fulfill the education requirement to sit for the CFP® Certification Examination.

Financial Plan Presentation Course: Challenge Candidates |
Online Access: 9 months (3 month extensions available with appropriate notice)
Effective November 18, 2011, challenge candidates who did not previously sit for the CFP Certificate Examination will be required to complete the Financial Plan Presentation course in order to sit for the March 2012 exam, or later. If a challenge candidate registered for the November 11th CFP exam as a "challenge candidate" but did not pass the November exam, they are not required to complete the Financial Plan Presentation course to take the March 2012 exam or later.
Ohio State University, partnered with Dalton Education, will offer this course consisting of online, self-paced study combined with live online instructions. Students will learn how to prepare and present a financial plan using financial planning software and multiple approached to identify and plan for a client's goals and risks. By enrolling and completing the Financial Plan Presentation course, candidates will receive a certificate of course completion. The course is available for $700 and begins January 2012.
