BUSMHR 1210 - Fundamentals of Leadership Development

Introduces students to the fundamentals of leadership. Topics include teamwork, leadership, ethics, communication, decision making, conflict management and diversity. Open only to students enrolled in the Central Ohio Leadership Academy. Offered each June; dates, times and location to be announced.
Prereq: Permission of instructor. This course is graded S/U.

BUSMHR 7221 - Leadership Values and Decision Making

The importance of character, values and integrity to personal and organizational leadership. Includes cases, lectures, readings and speakers.
Prereq: Enrollment in MBA, WPMBA, MHRM, or MAcc program, or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for 840.

BUSMHR 7242 - International Negotiations and Deal Making

How to effectively negotiate and make deals in cross-cultural contexts.
Prereq: 7240 (802), or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for or currently enrolled in 7241 or 830.

BUSMHR 7500 - Resolving Social Conflict

Multidisciplinary examination of social conflict, its dynamics and negotiated resolution; offers a broad-based framework for diagnosing and managing conflict applied to legal, environmental, organizational and geopolitical conflict.
Prereq: Grad standing, or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for BusAdm 750. Cross-listed in CRPlan and ENR. 
 
MBA 6200 - Organizational  Behavior, Teamwork and Leadership-EMBA

An overview of factors that influence individual, group and organizational work performance and techniques to improve it; analytical frameworks for determining effectiveness of given techniques in specific circumstances.
Prereq: Enrollment in Executive MBA program or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for 860.

MBA 6281 - Workshop Core I-FTMBA

Professional development and skill set enhancement in the areas of leadership, self-awareness, team-based work and ability to adapt to work life in the context of different organizational and global cultures.
Prereq: Enrollment in MBA program or permission of instructor.
