Professor Rodgers’ research and teaching efforts focus in the areas of organizational behavior and human resource management. In particular, he is interested in international management issues and leadership.
He worked for a number of years as a mechanical engineer for both Cardone Industries and AccuSystems Corporation before pursuing his masters and doctoral degrees at Cornell University. Prior to coming to Fisher, he was an assistant professor at the SKK Graduate School of Business in Seoul, Korea and an international faculty fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His work has been published in numerous journals including the Strategic Management Journal, the Leadership Quarterly, and the Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin. Companies such as Samsung Electronics and the SK Corporation have relied on his expertise in cross-cultural management and leadership.
