Introduction to the concepts and analytic tools in the field of strategic management to understand the competitive position of firms.
Prereq: Honors standing; and 2290 and 2291, or BusAdm 499; and BusMHR 3200 (701H), BusFin 3220 (620), 3500 (510), BusMgt 3230 (630), and BusML 3250 (650); and Sr standing; and enrollment in Business Administration Honors program. Not open to students with credit for BusAdm 799H.

BUSMHR 7421 - Intopia: Applied Competitive Strategy

Focuses on international operations business simulation INTOPIA and student's companies operations in it. Each company must be well prepared to make and execute decisions.
Prereq: Enrollment in MBA or WPMBA program, or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for 836.

BUSMHR 7800 - Advanced Topics in Management and Human Resources for EMBA

Advanced Topics in Management and HR for students in the Executive MBA Program.
Prereq: Enrollment in EMBA program. Repeatable to a maximum of 15 cr hrs or 7 completions.

MBA 6240 - Organizations, Markets and Management-EMBA

Microeconomics from a management and organizational perspective, developing a framework grounded in the fundamentals of economic theory.
Prereq: Enrollment in Executive MBA program or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for 812.

MBA 6291 - Strategy Formulation & Implementation

Focuses on the determination of the strategic direction of the firm and the management of the strategic process.
Prereq: Enrollment in MBA or WPMBA program or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for 980.
