This course covers selected topics related to methodologies for preparing and executing human resource plans at the firm, community and national levels. Following the completion of the course, students should be conversant about "best practices" and innovative ideas in human resource information systems, able to develop or acquire a human resource information system, able to develop and make decisions using a human resource data base, and familiar with some highly regarded HR software packages. 2 2-hr cl.
