Position: Tenure Track Faculty in International Business

Institution: Fisher College, OSU

Location:  Columbus, Ohio

Management and Human Resources, Fisher College of Business, The Ohio State University, is seeking applicants for a faculty appointment in International Business. This will be a full-time, tenure track appointment, to begin fall semester 2013. Research, teaching, and service responsibilities required. Competitive salary and teaching load with other major research institutions.

Applicants with a Ph.D. (or equivalent) in hand are preferred. Rank is open, although we have a preference for an Assistant Professor (either a fresh PhD or one with experience). A publication record commensurate with experience is an important hiring criterion. A continuing commitment to enhance our world class International Business group implies that applicants will need to be able to apply the most up-to-date theories and methods to address critical research questions in their chosen field, with an eye towards publishing this work in the most respected research journals in International Business and related disciplines. In terms of teaching, a world class International Business group implies that faculty will be skilled at translating their own research and the research of their colleagues to the classroom setting. The Fisher College is committed to building these teaching skills in its newly hired faculty. The Fisher College is not currently committed to any particular area of research, theory, or methodological approach but open to applications from any scholar asking research questions that are at the core of the field. Chase Chair for Excellence in Corporate Strategy and Professor of Management and Human Resources

The department of Management and Human Resources, Fisher College of Business, The Ohio State
University, is searching for a distinguished scholar for the Chase Chair for Excellence in Corporate Strategy. This will be a full-time, tenure track appointment, to begin fall semester 2013.  All candidates must have an outstanding record of scholarly accomplishment and have demonstrated leadership ability.  The holder of the Chase Chair will be expected to produce high quality research, to be involved in collaborative research efforts with other faculty, and to provide leadership in research, teaching, and service both within the college and within the field of strategy.

Ph.D. (or equivalent) is required, as is a distinguished publication record that places the candidate among the leaders in the field. Teaching and service records must also be at the highest level.
