- The Center for Entrepreneurship at the Fisher College of Business is the locus for the Entrepreneurship Program at The Ohio State University. Founded in 2002, the three-pronged mission of the Center is:
“ . . . 1) to advance the science and practice of entrepreneurship, 2) to train aspiring student entrepreneurs in the principles of opportunity recognition, exploitation and value creation, and 3) to stimulate economic growth and development through technology commercialization, new company formation and improved competitive performance of entrepreneurial firms.”
- Within the International Programs Office, OSU’s Center for International Business Education & Research (CIBER) is one of the critically important vehicles we use to globalize our students, faculty, and members of the business community who participate in our programs. The CIBER — a grant funded by the U.S. Department of Education—provides a supportive framework for the development of international business teaching, outreach, and research. Our CIBER is one of 30 CIBERs located throughout the U.S. at universities like OSU where internationalization activities are a high priority.
