Alumni - Current Affiliations of Graduates

Ohio State PhD graduates are employed by top universities across the country and throughout the world. Even in tough job markets, our students perform well. Statistics in recent years bear testament to this success.

Beyond the first placement, many Ohio State graduates have gone on to become successful scholars. Based on articles published in the top three finance journals, a study by Karolyi and Silvestrini (2005) ranks graduates from OSU 8th among all US finance PhD programs. This further testifies to quality of our finance doctoral program. We believe that we do not merely produce graduates who are able to do well in the job market, but who are also trained to produce a continuing stream of scholarship that contributes significantly to the field.
