The Accounting Hall of Fame Inducts a New Member for 2010:                
David M. Walker

Columbus, OH – The Hon. David M. Walker, former Comptroller General of the United States and President and CEO of the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, was inducted into The Accounting Hall of Fame on October 1, 2010. The induction took place at a conference held at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. J. Michael Cook, former CEO of Deloitte LLP and member of The Accounting Hall of Fame, presided at the induction.

For nearly two decades, Mr. Walker has been the leading voice for transparency and accountability in government. Mr. Walker will soon assume the responsibilities of President and CEO of the Comeback America Initiative, a new non-profit organization that will promote fiscal responsibility and sustainability by engaging the public and assisting key policy makers on a non-partisan basis in order to achieve solutions to the fiscal imbalances facing the federal, state and local governments.
