Biography
Michael Drake has joined the department of Accounting and Management Information Systems as an Assistant Professor of Accounting. Michael arrived from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University where he earned his Ph.D. in accounting and taught financial accounting. His research examines the role of information intermediaries in the capital markets. Michael is a Certified Public Accountant and prior to his doctoral work, worked as an auditor for Ernst & Young in Salt Lake City. At Fisher, Michael teaches intermediate accounting.
