I went to an Indian restaurant Friday with my English Conversation partner. The restaurant in located in Sancus BLVD, named Cuisine of Indian , which is recommended by my close friend Eva who is from India.
In the picture, you can see I was trying to grind a black ingredient, which is very common in daily Indian food. It tastes a little bit spicy.
Well, I only have 5 classes left until the end of my first quarter as a graduate student. Today was the first day I didn't have to go to work or anywhere for that matter since the beginning of the quarter. And, what did I do today? I dog sat my sister's dog, Bonnie (picture below). My sister LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVES this dog. She is pretty cute, I'll admit it. She's just over 2 years old.
It's almost my (second) favorite holiday of the year....Thanksgiving. I'm headed home to Connecticut at 6 am (thanks mom) on Wednesday morning and I am not returning until Monday morning. A nice stretch of days where I can relax with my family (and write a 16 page paper for my one education class that I'm taking...greeeat).
Some things I'm looking forward to over break:
-having nights to myself!! as in not having to sit in class until 9/10 pm!!!
Well, with Thanksgiving fast approaching as well as finals, it is a sign that the end of the semester is near...Thank God! It has been a rigorous two months, and I for one am ready to get it over with! This weekend I am gearing up to take my last Business Data Analysis Modeling (aka Statistics) test, upon which I will feel relieved that I have basically finished my most challenging class of the semester. I am sure many of my classmates feel the same way.
I have to apologize in this post for being a slacker. It's been a little bit since I've posted but I do have a good reason...I've plain and simply been really busy. Classes are all winding up which means that projects and papers are due, a few more quizzes to maintain that good grade, or bump up a so so grade, plus there are a ton of extracurricular activities going on.
