When you first started looking at our program, you may have asked yourself why we are called the Fisher College of Business. Then you probably shrugged and forgot all about it. Well, I'm here to answer that burning question for you.
Like many business schools, we are named after a benefactor who contributed a significant amount of money to build and expand the business school here at the Ohio State University. Our benefactor was Max M. Fisher.
I recently landed my dream internship with Microsoft. This summer I will be working as a Product Marketing Manager within their Cloud Marketing Group in Seattle! My goal in coming back to grad school was to pivot from Logistics into Marketing and I am doing just that. There was no shortage of hard work as I had plenty of interviews, with plenty of yes’s and some no’s! I took chances and gambled on myself to land the dream internship I have always wanted.
The Interview Circuit
Over spring break, I had the opportunity to travel to Panama with my GBE (Global Business Expeditions) class that was led by two of our supply chain faculty members.
One of the biggest questions many of my non-Ohioan classmates had when they were considering Fisher for their MBA was “What is there to do in Columbus?” The answer to that question reveals that Columbus is a vibrant and thriving city with something for everyone.
