Despite the past year’s market condition, giving to the Fisher College is up 8% over last year. Our fund-raising efforts continue to prosper and grow due to the dedicated efforts of Fisher alumni, donors and corporate partners.

2003 Professorships

The income from these 2003 professorships support outstanding faculty in the fields of finance, marketing and management.

David A. Rismiller Professorship in Business
David A. Rismiller (BSBA '58) serves as chairman and chief executive officer of America First Financial Institutions Management, LLC, of Omaha, Nebraska. He also serves on The Ohio State University Foundation Board.

James G. and Sue A. Oates Designated Professorship
James "Jim" Oates (BSBA '66) attended Ohio State on a football scholarship. He is retired president board of directors, executive committee, Leo Burnett Worldwide, The Leo Group. Jim and Sue reside in Chicago and Colorado and are the parents of two sons.

Charles R. Webb Designated Professorship in Finance
Charles "Chuck" Webb is former executive vice president of Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc., a New York City based investment bank.

Edwin D. Dodd Professorship in Management
Edwin D. Dodd (1919-2001; BSBA '43) was chairman emeritus/retired CEO of Owens Illinois Inc. He received an honorary doctorate from Ohio State in 1985.
