Executive Education


Programs in logistics showed the greatest growth, with new programs offered on reinventing the supply chain, a series of logistics management programs designed for Andersen Consulting and Colgate-Palmolive Company, and a new customized program for Emery Worldwide. The Mason Symposium was offered again last year, covering key issues and topics in contemporary transportation and logistics management.

Several new certificate degree programs were offered, including one in human resources and another in marketing. The Management Certificate Program: A Survey of MBA Topics was offered for the third time last year.

A new open enrollment program on Strategic Issues in Mergers and Acquisitions and another on Bayesian Applications and Methods in Marketing were introduced last year.

Customized programs grew, with new programs designed for Escape Enterprises, Ltd. on team building; Samsung on electronic commerce; Colgate-Palmolive in logistics; and Hancor, Inc. on executive development.

Well-established customized programs were revised and updated for companies such as AEP, Andersen Consulting, the National Association of Wholesaler Distributors and the University of the Aftermarket, as well as industry-specific programs in nursing home administration and wholesale distribution.
