Fisher College Alumni
Awards
Five alumni of the Fisher College of Business were recognized
for their professional accomplishments and leadership at the college’s
alumni awards dinner last September. Sponsored by the Fisher
College Alumni Society, the awards recognized individuals from
among the college’s 49,000 alumni.
Young Professional Award: Dwight
W. Crawford (BSBA accounting 1982), consultant; former executive
vice president and chief financial officer of Black Entertainment
Television, Inc.; former senior vice president/treasurer of Discover
Communications, Inc.
Community Service Award: William
E. Arthur (BSBA 1950), Of Counsel, Porter Wright Morris &
Arthur International Alumnus Award: Steven M. Burgess (BSBA marketing
1977), Association of Marketers Professor of Marketing, Faculty
of
Commerce, University of Witwatersrand, South Africa
Distinguished Alumnus Award: Russell
B. Klein (BSBA marketing 1979), private investor; former managing
director, Foote, Cone & Belding/Chicago
Lifetime Achievement Award: Major
General Raymond E. Mason, Jr. (BSBA 1941), chairman of Columbus
Truck and Equipment Company

Pace Setters Awards
The 40th annual Pace Setters Banquet last April recognized the
academic performance and leadership of outstanding students and
the excellence of faculty in teaching, research and service. The
Executive Award went to Tanny Crane, president and CEO of Crane
Plastics Company, for her significant leadership on behalf
of the community, Fisher College of Business and The Ohio State
University.
