Recognizing Outstanding Performance
Outstanding alumni awards

Outstanding alumni were recognized last year at the annual Alumni Weekend Dean’s Dinner. Sponsored by the Fisher College Alumni Society, the awards recognized individuals from among the college’s more than 48,000 alumni for outstanding performance and contribution to their professions, their communities and the college.

Young Professional Award:
Constantine S. "Don" Yannias (BS ’79, MBA ’81), President, Boker Investment Management, Inc.

Community Service Award:
Gordon B. Zacks (BS ’55), Chairman/President/CEO, R.G. Barry Corporation
Distinguished Alumnus Award:
Robert A. Oakley (MBA ’69, PhD ’73), Senior Vice President/CFO, Nationwide Insurance Enterprises
International Alumnus Award:

Lifetime Achievement Award:

Pace Setters awards

The 39th annual Pace Setters banquet last spring recognized the academic performance and leadership of outstanding students and the excellence of faculty in teaching, research and service. The Executive Award went to Vincent Aveni, Chairman Emeritus of Realty One, for achievement in his profession.
