At
the core of Fisher College Executive Education programs is
a faculty recognized for high impact research in response
to current and emerging business issues. During 1998-99, Executive
Education designed its offerings around areas of faculty expertise
and the needs of the marketplace, resulting in a successful
year for the program.

- Executive
Education increased its gross revenues by 12.5% last year.

The biggest growth in Executive Education programs during
1998-99 was in the area of logistics. More than 270 executives
attended logistics programs last year. One of the most successful
programs was the Logistics Management Program, which has grown
its enrollment for the past three years.
- 55%
of the Executive Education offerings last year were custom
programs, including programs designed especially for Andersen
Consulting, Emery Worldwide, and American Electric Power.
New relationships included programs for Victorias Secret,
Bank One, Hancor and Samsung.
- Executive
Education continued its successful partnerships with a number
of major associations last year, including the National Association
of Wholesaler-Distributors and the Automotive Warehouse Distributors.
- In
response to market demand, the senior-level Advanced Management
Program was restructured into a more cohesive and integrated
four-part yearly program.
- The
Management Certificate Program: A Survey of MBA Topics continued
to be an extremely successful program last year. As a result,
an advanced course, Management Certificate Program: Advanced
Topics, will be offered in 1999-2000.

new Fisher Executive MBA (EMBA) program was recently approved
by the university and the State of Ohio. Slated to begin in January
2001, the program is designed for the working professional, with
a unique 15-month format and an integrative curriculum reflecting
current business issues. |
