Over the past few years, the Master of Labor and Human Resources (MLHR) program has shifted emphasis from industrial relations to human resources in order to meet the changing needs of todays business environment. With input from an advisory council consisting of corporate leaders in the field, the program has developed a curriculum that hones critical skill sets using a business context, functional human resources expertise and a leadership and change management focus. |

Master of Accounting Program

Making
its way through university and State of Ohio approval processes
is a proposal to establish a Master of Accounting (MAcc) degree
program. The program reflects the changing nature of the field
of accounting, specifically the need for accountants in the
new economy to have a broader and deeper education. This one-year,
45-credit hour program enables students to develop skills in
information systems technology and other business fields, as
well as strengthen their understanding of accounting. The program
curriculum will allow students to meet Ohios new CPA licensing
requirements, which begin in the year 2000.
