Yihua Yang

Yihua Yang is an associate at Lehman Brothers Global Real Estate Banking group, which provides capital raising and advisory services to commercial real estate, lodging and gaming industries. Before banking, Yihua spent two years in Capital Markets Prime Services at Lehman Brothers where she covered institutional quantitative hedge fund clients and provided them with financing and trading services.
Yihua is actively involved in recruiting. She is the leader of the Passionate Alumni Program for Ohio State University at Lehman Brothers. She and her alumni team work in conjunction with Fisher College of Business' Career Services to help the firm source talent.
Yihua also enjoys helping Lehman build client relationships with Chinese companies. She has been an active member of Lehman's Asian community and has been given many opportunities to co-host Chinese clients in New York and to attend China-related events on behalf of the firm.
Yihua is becoming more involved in philanthropic work. She is a member of the Youth Initiative Program at Grace Children's Foundation (GCF) in New York. GCF's mission is to deliver medical/surgical care, educational and vocational programs and humanitarian aid for orphaned and abandoned children in China. She also works closely with the China Children and Teenager Fund (CCTF), China's oldest and most recognized charity, to raise funds in the United States.
Yihua has been a member of the Alumni Advisory Board at Fisher College of Business since 2006. She sits on the Networking sub-committee that is dedicated to connecting students with alumni around the globe.
Yihua graduated with honors from Ohio State University in 2005 with a B.S.B.A degree in Finance. She was born and raised in China and came to the U.S. for college in 2002 after completing her freshman year at University of Toronto. She is the only child in the family. Her parents live and work in Beijing.
