George Sladoje

George Sladoje is Chairman of North American Energy Credit and Clearing Corporation. He is the former President and CEO of California Power Exchange. Before joining California Power Exchange he was the executive vice president and chief financial officer of the Chicago Stock Exchange. In 1981 he was elected executive vice president of the Chicago Board of Trade.

Previously, Mr. Sladoje was a management consultant and audit supervisor with the accounting firm Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. He also served in various financial management capacities with McGraw-Edison Company and American Hospital Supply Corporation.

Mr. Sladoje earned a bachelors degree in business administration from The Ohio State University and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He became a certified public accountant in Illinois in 1971.
