Carl Nelson, Jr.
Carl Nelson serves as an independent business consultant and a lecturer in the MBA program at the Fisher College of Business. He was a partner at Arthur Andersen for 31 years until he retired in February 2002. Mr. Nelson served as managing partner of the Columbus office of Arthur Andersen from 1994 until his retirement, and was the leader of the firm’s consulting services for the products industry in the United States.
Mr. Nelson is an investor and is chairman of Midwest Electric, an electrical contractor serving utility and industrial companies. He also serves on the boards of Worthington Industries, Dominion Homes, Stonehenge Partners, and Star Leasing. He is president of PaceSetters for the Fisher College of Business.
Mr. Nelson received his B.S. in accounting from The Ohio State University and his MBA from the University of Wisconsin.
