Larry A. Hilsheimer

Lawrence (Larry) A. Hilsheimer joined Nationwide October 2007 as executive vice president and chief financial officer. He is responsible for the financial operations of Nationwide, directing the Office of Finance, which includes Treasury, Risk Management, Accounting, Financial Reporting and Taxation.
Hilsheimer joined Nationwide from Deloitte & Touche USA, LLP, where he held numerous positions as a partner, including Columbus office managing partner, vice chairman and regional managing partner. He also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Deloitte Foundation.
He serves the community as the Board Treasurer of Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Board Treasurer of the Battelle for Kids and Compete Columbus.
Hilsheimer is a graduate of the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He sits on the Dean’s Advisory Council at the Fisher School of Business, and is a board member for The Ohio State University Alumni Association. Hilsheimer also has a law degree from Capital University Law School.
