Timothy Gallagher
Timothy Gallagher is a managing director for Goldman Sachs & Co, a global investment banking, securities and investment management firm that provides services worldwide to corporations, financial institutions, governments and high-net-worth individuals.
Timothy is based in New York and works in the Americas Financing Group where he oversees a group of more than 30 professionals engaged in providing capital and capital markets execution in the public and private debt markets. Previous to his current position, Timothy was a managing director in the European Financing Group in London where he worked with corporate and financial sponsor clients across Europe on various debt capital markets transactions. Prior to his time in Europe, Timothy was in sales and trading in the Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities Division in New York. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Timothy worked in the Fixed Income Division at Morgan Stanley for seven years.
Timothy is a member of the Board of Governors for the Commercial Mortgage Securities Association, a member of the Advisory Board of the Center for Real Estate at Fisher and a member of the Dean's Advisory Council at the Fisher College of Business. Timothy earned a BSBA from Ohio State University in 1990. He and his wife, Jennifer, who holds a degree in communications from Ohio State, have two children and live in Connecticut.
