Dean's Advisory Council: Sandra W. Harbrecht

A nationally recognized leader in the public relations industry, Sandra W. Harbrecht consults with CEOs and senior executives on communications strategy. She often is sought as a facilitator for organizational change initiatives and as a consultant on public policy issues, particularly in the education, health care and technology sectors.

As president of Paul Werth Associates, Ms. Harbrecht heads a consulting practice that serves public and private sector clients in Washington, DC and throughout the Midwest. Ms. Harbrecht is leading Paul Werth Associates during a period of growth, achievement and national attention.

Under her leadership the firm has earned eight of its nine Silver Anvil awards, including the Best of Silver Anvil, the highest honor bestowed for public relations programming. Paul Werth Associates consistently is ranked as one of the nation's top firms by Inside PR in its annual Report Card Edition.

Ms. Harbrecht earned and MBA and an MA in Education from The Ohio State University. She serves on the Board of Trustees for Kent State University and the Ingram-White Castle Foundation. She also serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for the Greater Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce and on the Board of Easter Seals of Central and Southwest Ohio.

Ms. Harbrecht is past chairman of the Counselors Academy of the Public Relations Society of America and a founding member of the Council of Public Relations Firms.
