Dean's Advisory Council: Thomas R. Green

Thomas R. Green is the chairman of Lancaster Pollard Holdings Co. He served as CEO and chairman at Lancaster Pollard from 1997 to 2015. His experience involves more than 30 years of corporate finance, banking and health care in senior management positions.

Prior to joining Lancaster Pollard, Mr. Green served as executive vice president for Central Benefits Mutual Insurance, a group health insurance company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. In that capacity Mr. Green had responsibility for health insurance underwriting, managed care contracting, sales and risk management. Prior to Central Benefits, Mr. Green was the president and CEO of Firstar Bank Central Ohio, currently a $1 billion region of U.S. Bancorp. After leaving the bank as an executive officer Mr. Green served another 10 years on the bank’s board of directors.

Mr. Green has served on the board of directors of Max & Erma’s Restaurants, Inc. and the advisory board of USbank. He is an active member of the Fisher College of Business Dean’s Advisory Counsel and has served on several nonprofit boards over the years. Mr. Green is a regular speaker across the country on capital market funding methods for health care and senior living.

Mr. Green received his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Economics from The Ohio State University.
