Dean's Advisory Council: Timothy Gallagher

Timothy Gallagher is a managing director for Morgan Stanley, a global financial services company that provides its products and services to a diversified group of clients and customers, including corporations, governments, financial institutions and individuals.

Timothy is based in New York and works in the Sales & Trading area of the Fixed Income Division where he manages the trading, distribution and risk of various mortgage related products.  Previous to his current position, Timothy was a managing director for Goldman Sachs & Co, a global investment banking, securities and investment management firm.  At Goldman Sachs, Timothy was based in New York and worked in the Americas Financing Group where he ran the mortgage origination and distribution business.  Previously, Timothy was a managing director in the European Financing Group for Goldman Sachs International, in London, where he worked with corporate and financial sponsor clients across Europe on various debt capital markets transactions.  Prior to his time in Europe, Timothy was in Sales & Trading in the Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities Division of Goldman Sachs in New York. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Timothy worked in the Fixed Income Division at Morgan Stanley for seven years.

Timothy is a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Governors for the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council, a member of the Advisory Board of the Center for Real Estate at Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University and a member of the Dean's Advisory Council at Fisher College of Business.  Timothy earned a BSBA from The Ohio State University.
